"How and When do I Request a VMO Uplift?"
What is a VMO Request and Uplift?
A VMO Request (sometimes called an Uplift) compensates our employees and technicians for costs they may incur due to different circumstances. APPROVALS are obtained through F2OnSite management. Examples of VMO requests are:
Total Mileage entered into the portal of 251+ miles or more (computers/servers)
Total Mileage for Printers over 51+ miles
Requests by our customer for you to travel to different locations
Requests by our customer for you to stay overnight at a location
Excessive time onsite - Must meet criteria for payment
1. Onsite due to no fault of your own for longer than 1 hour 45 minutes*
2. Dell/IBM/Sony/Lexmark etc....request that you stay onsite to do troubleshooting that extends your time.
3. You are "On Hold" for longer than 40 minutes with the OEM
NOTE: In these situations, always request that the OEM issue you a Labor Only Ticket for your extra time.
If they say Yes or No, record the persons name and badge number for the VMO Request form.
4. Other situations where you feel as if you would like to have a situation evaluated.
*Examples of non-approval are when you take a long time to do a basic repair because you are still learning and slow.
*I understand the policy as set forth, and understand that the use of VMO Requests are to be used for legitimate purposes. Click below to Continue:
